Departure ceremony for the A Battery, 1st Battalion, 128th field artillery of the Missouri National Guard Tuesday morning. The unit was called to active duty and heading for Ft. Leonard Wood for retraining as military police.
Specialist Daniel Harrison, 26, St. Charles, kept touching his son Brandon, 5, who came to the ceremony dressed just like his dad. Harrison had planned to remarry over the Christmas holiday. Because of the callup, Harrison went ahead and married his girlfriend, Nancy Hartnett on 11/14 - four days before his departure.
