Out of control fire at Dix's Greenhouse in Leadington, Missouri Thursday afternoon.
Residents from surrounding towns were able to see the smoke for over twenty miles. All of the fire units in St. Francois County were called in to battle the out of control blaze. Then tanker trucks were called in from Jefferson and St. Louis County to help ferry water to the fire. The fire started about 1pm. Officials at the scene said that the fire started when a car caught fire near one of the many buildings on the property.
